New: Canderel Stevia
Oud-Beijerland, 16th of January 2012. Van Oordt presents the new sweetener Canderel Stevia to the Dutch Foodservice market, a genuine innovation within the sweetener market. Canderel Stevia is a sweetener made with ingredients of natural origin without all the calories of sugar. Canderel is available in a dispenser box with 200 sticks as from the 16th of janury 2012. The launch of Canderel Stevia in the Netherlands is part of a broad European roll-out.
Stevia is a plant native from South America. Used for centuries by the Guarini indians of Paraguay to sweeten food, Stevia is known for its exceptional sweetness. Rebaudioside A, commonly knowm as Reb A, extracted from the Stevia plant, is a natural alternative to sugar.
Canderel Green is a versatile sweetener and can either be used in hot drinks such as coffee or tea and to sweeten cereals, dairy products and fruit salads.
